Description
19" 1U rack mount for Sonicwall TZ500 series, complete with recesses for installing nine LAN ports as an extension from the firewall's rear. This model, adapted from a previous iteration, features a modified recess for the rubber feet and screw protrusions used for wall mounting. Theoretically, it should now be perfect; minor edge smoothing or repositioning of the rubber feet might be necessary, as I experienced during printing to avoid wasting filament. These adjustments are imperceptible and do not affect the model's aesthetics. The two parts should be printed separately (the left side features port descriptions, requiring two-color printing) and then assembled using eight M4x8 screws with corresponding nuts. Nine extension cables will need to be created with CAT.5E or 6 cable, using RJ45 plugs on one end and ethernet jacks like those in the link below on the other:
