Description

This case holds the Tynet HCP RS485 bridge board.

The example photos hide the board away inside the motor compartment, but on my Supramatic E3 there was absolutely no room to do that. I repurposed a screw on the side to mount the board close to the bus connector.

My E4-to-E3 converter plug board is hidden away inside the motor compartment.

Mounting instructions:

  • Screw in first (if you need alternate screw hole placement, create a negative cylinder in the slicer in the correct location)
  • Slide in the board (USB port first, then give it a good push).
  • The lid slides on - put the side with the bottom sliders at the top first, then slide the whole thing down (I wish I was smart enough to make a good snap fit).
  • Don't forget to reconnect the RJ12 cable if you disconnected it.

Prints without supports.
