Im Anschluss werden die Metallstifte um 90 Grad gebogen und nach Bedarf eines davon isoliert, um Kurzschlüsse zu verhindern (obwohl diese mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit nicht eintreten werden, ist eine Vorsichtsmaßnahme dennoch anzuraten).

It should be cut in the middle and a portion of the plastic sheath removed. Subsequently, the metal pins should be bent 90 degrees, and one of them insulated as needed to prevent short circuits (although these are highly unlikely, a precautionary measure is still advisable).
