Description

Oxygen Atom Model – Multi-Color, Multi-Plate 3D Print

This is an educational and visually engaging 3D printable model of an oxygen atom, designed for efficient multi-color fabrication. The structure represents the atomic composition and orbital configuration of an oxygen atom, with a scientifically informed layout aimed at enhancing conceptual understanding.

The atomic core consists of 16 spheres: 8 protons and 8 neutrons, accurately reflecting the oxygen nucleus. Surrounding the nucleus are 8 electron spheres, distributed along orbital paths. These orbitals are mounted on slender supports from filament material, simulating the spatial electron configuration. Balls of atom come from original project. As well as bar wich goes through atom is original. Base is modified by strengthening.

The model is optimized for printing in multiple colors across several build plates (please change colors as you want), significantly reducing the overall print time compared to monolithic single-build colour designs. The base of the model has a diameter of 60 mm, providing stability and a compact footprint suitable for display in educational or demonstrative settings. Text is in Polish (Tlen) and English (Oxygen)  but you can edit it.

This version was developed based on a foundational model created by YWsuoyi and has been restructured (splitted, strenghtened and upgraded) for enhanced printability and visual appeal. Ideal for classroom use, science demonstrations, or as a decorative educational piece.
