Description

Originally, this was going to function as a giant yo-yo, but after recent tests, I have not succeeded. Mostly because the center is too large, the yo-yo string I have may not strong enough, or the weight of the assembly is not well distributed. The complete yo-yo included spacers and a large print-in-place roller bearing, but I decided not to add them for this upload.

Overall, this model can most likely be used as paperweight, but it can also be used for other purposes such as little bowling games, a giant wheel for new 3d printed vehicle projects, a small cable spool, a display podium, and (possibly) a storage. It's all up to the imagination!

To assemble the yo-yo wheel, insert the screw shaft to one of the sides and rotate counter-clockwise to tighten the parts. Next, add the cardboard spool, and finally, secure the assembly by rotating the other yo-yo side counter-clockwise. Try not to over-tighten the parts!

For any suggestions on updating this project to make the yo-yo functional, feel free to message me!
