Sewing machine needle storage box
Capacity 18 boxes of needles:
Dimension - metric:
2x 45mm x 4,5mm, height 45mm
2x 45mm x 6mm, height 45mm
7x 30,5mm x 6.2mm, height 45mm
7x 30mm x 4mm, height 45mm
and
1x Space for Sponge (for temporary storage of needles) 13mm x 17mm, height 25mm

Dimensions - converted to inches:
• 2x 1.77" x 0.18", height 1.77"
• 2x 1.77" x 0.24", height 1.77"
• 7x 1.20" x 0.24", height 1.77"
• 7x 1.18" x 0.16", height 1.77"
• 1x space for sponge (for temporary needle storage): 0.51" x 0.67", height 0.98"

The box is designed to use magnets (Ø 4mm, height 2mm)
To add them, you need to schedule a pause:
For the bottom of the box: 136 layer
For the top of the box: 120 layer
!VERY IMPORTANT!:
Before embedding the magnets, decide which side of each magnet will be the north pole and which will be the south pole. The goal is to create an alternating pattern that guarantees attraction when two parts come together.

It printed very nice, however, it doesn’t seem to fit any of the needle packages I have except for one. My need packs are too thick or too wide except for a couple of the extra long slots. I am in the USA, are you perhaps from somewhere else and your packs are different. I wanted to love it, but I just don’t as it isn’t useable for me.

I see you have Organs… I have them for my embroidery machines, not sewing. I was making this for my granddaughter.

Printed just fine in SUNLU Easy ABS. But I messed up when putting in the magnets. Dropped one into the infill and put one in with the wrong polarity. "Luckily" my magnets are way too weak anyways. So they just don't do anything. Except for the one I dropped. That one at least rattles around 😂

Thank you for the cool design. Printed it for a colleague that did some textile and leather work for me. She was very happy about finally having a way to organize her needles instead of throwing them in a box and having to search for the right one every time 😄

Basically good. But I have to enlarge it a bit, otherwise the commercially available needle boxes will be much too tight.
