Description
The pins that hold the compartments in place when the segment is fully opened constantly started to fall out of my shoe cabinet due to the wear on the holes in the cabinet walls.
The presented design replaces the original pressed in pins with a screw in version for better durability.
The holes that hold the pin are in the worn out state on my cabinet between 7,8 and 8,1 mm in diameter.
I printed the first replacement batch in PLA around ¾ year ago and they hold up pretty well. Maybe you want to consider to make them from a more durabel material for even better performance in the long run.
