Fishing rod holder for car

I designed a telescopic fishing rod holder that can fit all vehicles.

As materials, I used PETG for the structural components (to resist high temperatures) and TPU for the inserts.

List of components:

• Fixed rod - Provides stability to the structure.
• Adjustable telescopic rod - Allows adaptation to any distance between vehicle seats.
• Central body - Main structure with capacity for 4 fishing rods.
• 4 TPU inserts for rod housings - Provides a soft bearing surface to protect rods.
• 2 TPU inserts for attachment hooks - They promote coupling with the car seat, providing stability.
• 2 M5x10 screws - Lock the telescopic arm in place.
• Elastic cord (optional) - Can be added at the top to lock the rods in place.

Assembly instructions:

• Glue the shorter rod into the slot (side without screw holes)
• Glue the 4 TPU inserts into the rod slots
• Glue the 2 TPU inserts to the ends of the rods
• Glue the hook to hold the bungee cord in tension (optional)
