Description
Check out the video among images! The holder features a clever print-in-place pivot mechanism that ensures easy insertion and removal, while securely locking the plug when at rest. The fit is intentionally loose, allowing the plug to be easily inserted and removed, even in a hurry. This holder is designed for Type 2 EV charge cables. Use it to protect the plug from rain and to store it in a convenient location.
The body is printed with durable PETG or similar for outdoor use. PLA will likely work as well. The quick-to-print cover can be made from PLA or any material of your choice for color customization. The cover is easily interchangeable, allowing you to match it to the color of a new car, for example. The holder attaches securely to the wall using three countersunk screws (maximum thread diameter approx. 6mm). An optional drilling guide is also included, pictured below.
