Description

Love these hex pattern baskets, bins or trays for organizing things around the house. This one was a request from my spouse and is easily scaled vertically if you need to adjust the height. Just watch if you scale too short in the Z axis as the overhang on the hexagons gets rough. I designed in strong corners and edges and some small support ribs on the long hex pattern surfaces. They print nicely in PLA and are efficient on filament, around 86g per basket. My recommended designer profile has 5 top and bottom layers for strength and speed. Print times are long due to the pattern but I like how they look and how lightweight they are.
