Print-in-place Keychain Earplug Case

Introduction:

This compact box is great for carrying small items with you on your keychain, such as ear plugs, pills, or whatever you need! Due to its small size, this box could be great for finishing the final bit of filament on a spool. This box snaps close with a satisfying click and prints in place, so no assembly is required.

Dimensions:
Outside: 60mm long, 28 wide and 18 thick
Inside: 43mm long, 16 wide and 14 thick

Background:
I often use party plugs when clubbing. However, after much of use, my case broke (see pictures) , so I modelled a new one. This case is modelled after the Alpine PartyPlug case, having the same length and width but only being a bit thicker (18mm as opposed to 16.2). Since there is quite some leftover space in the case other party plugs or earplugs are sure to fit in here as well!

Instructions:
This model prints in place, using only a little support for the key ring. Be careful not to bend the latching mechanism when opening, but just press down on it. Due to the printing orientation, the latch can not handle much force along the print lines, so it could break. To mitigate this risk, consider using a filament that is less prone to breaking but bends first.
