This model has been designed to fit a Beauty Blender makeup sponge, but all makeup sponges should fit. It has a twist lock mechanism, to enable it to be transported inside a makeup bag, without coming loose. It has air vents to promote drying and to prevent mold. It has been sized to fit both a wet and dry beauty blender (as it expands when wet).
The bottom half is knurled to allow for easy opening and closing with wet hands.
It can also be used as a stand without the case, for an aesthetically pleasing look on a makeup shelf.
Version 2 Improvements:
As a result of feedback on my original model, I have created a version 2. This version is more compact, has better airflow to improve drying even further and is more aesthetically pleasing.
