Getting Started
1. The Grid
- Choose a base grid size from 2x2 to 7x7 tiles.
- You can expand on this by connecting additional grids using the provided connectors, which snap into holes along the edge.
The Grids have been updated to v2. They remain backwards compatible with the buildings. The connector is a new design and far more reliable, ensuring compatibility for future expansions.
2. Building Tiles
- Print as many buildings as needed to fill your grid.
- Buildings are organised by theme and sub-categorised:
- Metropolis Theme (New York-inspired) with low, mid, and high-level buildings.
- Modern Architecture Collection for adding a contemporary touch to your cityscape.
This profile has been superseded by the Modern Architecture vol.1 Expansion pack, with 25 new and updated contemporary models.
3. Speciality Tiles
- Unique structures span two or four tiles, including:
- Green Spaces (small & large parks)
- Arenas, Transport Hubs, Public Services, Monuments, Hotels, and Bridges
- Bridge tiles let you connect islands by road, creating a 1-tile-wide river between them.

Printing Guidelines
- Layer height: 0.12mm (optimal balance of detail & speed). Smaller layer heights and a 0.2mm nozzle will also capture finer details from within the models.
- Grid printing: Print upside-down on a textured PEI plate for a realistic road look between the buildings.
- Connector Peg Tester: Use the tester file to check peg-to-grid tolerances.
