White (33100) / Filament with spool / 1 kg

Description

A reusable, print-friendly spool designed for Bambu Lab filament refills. Lightweight yet sturdy, with an integrated internal filament lock to secure the filament end and avoid tangles during storage.

The spool snaps together tightly and can be further secured using the included lock clip.

šŸ‘‰ Note: The first time you use the internal filament lock, you may need to push the filament firmly to clear the hole, especially if there are print imperfections.Ā

Available in three versions:

šŸ”¹ Original - Open side design for reduced print time and material use

šŸ”¹ Plain - Solid side walls for maximum durability

šŸ”¹ Mini - 180mm version, fits the A1 Mini build plate

Print your own spool, reduce waste, and keep your filament tidy!

The spool is very beautiful and well-made, furthermore, little filament and little time to print it, it works perfectly like the original Bambu spools. I am very satisfied, these are the things that make the site great. A big thank you to the designer, as soon as I have a boost it will be a pleasure to give it to you āļøāļøāļøāļøāļøāļøāļøāļøāļø

LOVE these spool holders. was printing bambus for a couple days, and got tired of the long wait. printed 4 of these in the same amount of time on my mini compared to my h2s. LOVE the built in filament holder. If you aren't using these spools ... YOU SHOULD BE. (wether a1 mini size or regular size.) *Mini will fit a whole 1kg spool.*

Wow, what an awesome comment, thank you! 😊 I love hearing that the spools saved you time and worked so well. And yes, that built-in filament lock is a little thing I personally can’t go without. Really glad you’re enjoying them!

Is there a reason I wouldn't want to only print the mini size, since it fits a full 1KG of filament? Is it an AMS Pro thing? (I only have an AMS Lite & double spool-holder, at this point....)

Great question! 😊 The Mini version works perfectly with the AMS Lite or the dual spool holder, no downsides at all if you’re happy with the smaller outer diameter. If you are using the AMS or AMS 2 the larger spools are needed, but for AMS Lite users like you, the Mini is a great all-round choice!

Really great spool for the Bambu Lab refills - fits together perfectly and so far I haven't needed the locking element as the cap holds really well. The integrated filament holder in the outer rings is fantastic - ideal for the AMS 2 Pro during the rotary drying process. The only thing I would wish for your spool would be two small holes so that the spool could also be used for rewinding third-party filament without having to work with adhesive tape or similar. Thanks for sharing... šŸ‘ŒšŸ–– Printed with Bambu Lab PETG-HF Lime green

Thanks a lot for the thoughtful feedback and kind words! I’m really glad to hear the spool is working well with the AMS 2 Pro. šŸ˜€ Great point about adding holes for rewinding filament - I’ll get that added in an upcoming update! Let me know if there’s anything else you’d like to see improved or tweaked

With pleasure... šŸ˜‰šŸ–– ... and if you ask me like that, apart from the two holes, I have another idea on the subject of ā€œrewindingā€ foreign filaments. It would be very cool if the counterpart of the spool intended for the Bambu Lab label were available in a second version with a standard label field of 50 x 20mm instead of the rounded label field - perhaps simply as a 3rd plate in the print profile - then you could choose which counterpart you want to print. The standard labels would then also be easy to produce with an inkjet or laser printer. I can't wait to hear what you have to say about it and I'm already looking forward to the update at the weekend (just kidding) 🤣

It rubs a little in the AMS, I have to try to sand it a bit

Thanks for the feedback! 😊 Could you share a bit more about where it’s rubbing? I haven’t seen that myself, so I’d love to understand your setup a bit better and help figure it out.

pain because it is taller than the other spools, and when I lower the lid it rubs on the top

That’s strange - the spool is designed to match the original Bambu Lab spool dimensions exactly (200 mm diameter), so it shouldn’t be rubbing. Could you share a photo of how it sits when the lid is closed?

Awesome spools! Love that they come with a lock. They fit PERFECTLY on my wall-less rolls. I bought a bulk pack of filament without knowing they wouldn't be on spools, had zero extra so I couldn't respool them. This was a lifesaver. Great quality, easy print. 100% recommend! Thank you for sharing!

This is gonna sound like a silly question. I’m sure but what is the little tiny piece that prints with the spool ? it’s just off to the side when it prints

There are no silly questions! šŸ˜€ It's used for further securing the two halves together. Please see the animated gif in the model description.

Thanks a lot! Glad to hear it printed quickly and fits great on the AMS 😊 That little part is an optional clip to help lock the two spool halves together – it’s shown in the GIF in the model description. Totally optional, but handy if you want a more secure hold!
