Hex-Floating-Shelf

I sought to design a bespoke hexagonal shelving unit, dissatisfied with pre-existing mounting solutions

Behold the result: a system of suspended hexagonal shelves. Each hexagon boasts a 16cm internal height and a 2cm frame. The design accommodates 4.5mm countersunk screws

The print profile is meticulously crafted for an aesthetically pleasing facade incorporating a Hilbert curve. This, coupled with PEO or Textured-PEI, yields an exquisite finish

The mounting system offers diverse configurations, as it remains concealed and experiences varied stress from the screws

A jig is also included, facilitating the creation of honeycomb arrangements with multiple shelves

Further imagery is forthcoming. Currently, only proof-of-concept prints are available. The final iterations are under development, but will require additional time

Should the dimensions prove unsuitable, a fully parameterized Fusion 360 file is also provided

Ich wollte mein eigenes Hex-Regal entwerfen, weil mir die Aufhängungen der anderen nicht gefallen haben

Hier ist das Ergebnis Schwebende Hexagons als Regale Die Hexagons haben eine innere Höhe von 16cm und einen Rahmen von 2cm Die Befestigung ist für Schrauben bis 4,5mm Senkkopf vorgesehen

Das Druckprofil ist entsprechend auf eine schöne Frontoptik mit Hilbert-Kurve ausgelegt Das in Kombination mit einer PEO oder Textured-Pei ergibt ein schönes Finish

Die Aufhängung hat andere Einstellungen da nicht sichtbar und durch die Schraube anders belastet

Zusätzlich ist eine Anzeichenhilfe dabei um mehrere Regale als Wabenmuster zu kombinieren

Weitere Bilder folgen Bisher gibt es nur Proof-of-Concept-Drucke Die richtigen dauern noch etwas sind aber in Arbeit
