Description
This model is for an adjustable mold box wall for making silicone molds. Moldel is 178mm wide and 2inches tall to fit on the bed of an A1 Mini. I have a print profile prepared with 4 on a plate which I will upload, or you can clone it in the slicer and print as many as you need. Layer lines MAY affect silicone leakage, I will be putting a piece of postal tape on the walls that will be facing the silicone. Also I recommend doing a brush on print coat when making your silicone mold, in which you seal any gaps between the mold walls and/or table surface- then wait half an hour or so before you pour the main silicone for your mold. This is the lazy way I do molds so that I don't have to go around with a hot glue gun and seal the inside of the mold. If you need further explanation of this process, send me a message. This model is for light duty silicone mold making as the wall of the mold box is 3mm thick. I will assemble the 4 parts of the adjustable mold box with binder clips.
