Description

This is my Milwaukee 2724 Quick change system for my stubby nozzle and for the factory nozzle as well. I printed all my parts in Bambu PETG HF.  With this system I have included 4 different nozzles, 2 tip protectors, 1 stubby adapter, 1 factory extension adapter, and 1 gutter cleaner that adapts to 2 ½" vacuum wands.   These are all interchangeable from the stubby nozzle to the factory nozzle with adapter attached.  The wands I used for extending the gutter cleaner attachment are from my Ridgid shop vacuum and fit very well, but I am unsure if the tolerances are the same as other manufactures.  You can use the factory Milwaukee blower nozzle with multiple vacuum wands to extend up to your roof gutters.  I have also included wall hangers for organizing and storing your nozzles.  All the prints with Milwaukee logos are made to help orientate the nozzles correctly with the Milwaukee logo visible from the top when locked in completely.  All prints have no logo version available in the print profiles if that is something that is not desired.

  • Print times can be decreased by changing speed settings, I used a lot slower settings to get a higher quality product.  Small torch may be used to remove any stringing from PETG unless you have your settings dialed in you will probably get some.   Print profiles have multiple plates with and without LOGO only 1 of the 2 is usually required.   Print whatever nozzles and adapters you desire.

  • The angled nozzle is printed in PETG with a PLA interface layer for easy and clean support removal.  If you decide to not use this method, the support settings will have to be changed and I can't guarantee that fitment with the other parts will work without binding.  All other nozzles are printed without supports except the gutter cleaner which uses normal tree supports with no interface layer.

  • To mount the wall hanger orientate the printed in arrow next to the screw like the picture below for vertical orientation.  If wanted in the horizontal position make sure the arrow points to the top or to the bottom.  All hangers mount with #6 drywall screws.

  • Your mounted nozzle will look like this with the arrow pointing to the left or the right.

  • I have included a storage hanger for the factory nozzle with my adapter attached and also works for the stubby nozzle as well.

  • The red sections of all my nozzles are printed in TPU 95A.  I did these on the external spool with a pause.  This is the Youtube video I used to do this process.  I am not sure of the longevity of doing this, but the one I tried removing as a test piece ended up tearing apart in a different area than the interface between the PETG and TPU.  Use at your own risk if you want to try this out.  Also if you do this method I would suggest removing the brim I set up in the object print settings and will still give you more than adequate bonding to the build plate.  I chose the smooth PEI plate for this as well instead of the textured.
