Description

As the title says, this is in my opinion, the best OTT slingshot. This one remains slim while still fitting nicely in the hand. You will need to tie your own bands. Even though my photos show multiple colors I do not have an AMS but instead added a layer pause in the slicer and changed the filament manually.

This model is very strong, but I still suggest printing with 100% infill for more strength. I used PLA and it worked fine but you could also use a stronger material as well.

The sides could be better if they weren’t rounded, it gave a few strings that easily peeled off though. It prints quickly but consumes a lot of filament, but when using I’ve noticed, that I don’t think it will work well at lower infill. I cheated a little and used (good quality) zip ties for attaching the latex band, I’ll warn you from using cheap, small and low quality zip ties for this as the band packs a real punch at might tear up the locks on the zip ties

what rubber band do you use? How to install the rubber band?

Thanks for your question. I personally made my own bands out of simple shot 7mm latex, but you can also use premade bands. It f you don’t know anything about slingshots or slingshot bands I would suggest watching some YouTube videos about it. hope this helps, do hesitate to ask more questions

Had to sand it down a bit, but this was probably because I painted in bambu. Shoots great though! Much appreciated:)

I’m printing this out of Fiberon PA612-CF15. gonna bake it for 10 hours once I get done, ought to snap rubber before it breaks. it’s a little small for my hands I can tell so I’m going to reprint it at 150-175%. otherwise it’s the best looking OTT, I was inspired to print one after my grandfather asked me to order him some rubber for one of his handmade ones for a friend of his. I think he’ll be stunned to see what this can do in an hour or so.
