Eotech EXPS 3 Killflash/ Lens Protection

Having found no subtle lens protector for my Eotech EXPS 3 clone, I designed one myself in the style of a killflash.

I ensured it remained as unobtrusive as possible without compromising protection.

Minimizing sight obstruction was also a priority.

The inner diameter of the hexagons measures 5.5mm (protects against 6mm BBs)

The grid's thickness is 2.00mm (thus flush with the frame)

The struts between the hexagons are designed as thinly as possible at 0.8mm, without sacrificing stability.

The grid simply clamps directly in front of the lens, into the red dot's frame.

Depending on your printer's accuracy and the dimensions of your specific EXPS 3, the size can be adjusted in the slicer in the X and Y directions.

To prevent it from falling out, it should fit as snugly as possible.

To enhance protection, you can increase the grid's thickness in the Z direction in the slicer (however, the grid will then no longer be flush with the frame).

I printed it using Bambu PLA Matte (Charcoal).

Other materials such as PETG, ABS, or ASA are certainly also suitable.

Since a residual risk of damage always exists, I exclude any kind of warranty and guarantee.
