Description

Tokyo Tower N Scale 1:1500 Model

This is an N scale 1:1500 model of Tokyo Tower, which I designed and 3D printed myself.
The model accurately replicates the iconic red and white lattice structure, base building, and antenna at the top.

What’s in the photos:

  • Disassembled components – The model consists of multiple parts, including the tower body, antenna, base building, and support platform.
  • Pre-assembly preparation – Different colors distinguish the structures, such as the red tower body and the gray base.
  • Beige base building – This is the foundation of Tokyo Tower, housing a shopping area, an exhibition hall, and an elevator to the observation decks.

Assembly Steps:

  1. Place the beige base building into the rectangular slot in the center of the gray display base.

  2. Attach the four tower legs into the four corner slots of the gray base.

  3. Place the octagonal observation deck on top of the four legs.

  4. Insert the middle tower structure on top of the octagonal observation deck.

  5. Insert the circular observation deck on top of the middle structure,

with the smaller circle facing downward and the larger circle facing upward.

  6. Finally, attach the tower spire on top of the circular observation deck.

📌 Tip:
The first assembly might be a bit tight. If necessary,

use a craft knife to refine the edges for a smoother fit,

 as shown in the photos.

I really like the model, however for some reason i had two versions of the tower's antenna part available (AMS model) - one was too small :D I wish the parts would fit a bit more snuggly, but a drop of a glue solves the problem. How about kinkaku-ji? :D

If this were 1:150 scale, it would be 2219mm tall, I think you meant to type 1:1500

You're absolutely right — if it were 1:150 scale, it would be 2219mm tall. I really appreciate you pointing that out! I hadn't noticed the mistake until you mentioned it.
