Description
This is my first motorized design. I just wanted to make some engineering work, take gears and create something useful.
So I made this USB powered Yarn Winder with materials from Bambulam Maker's Supply.
This design is inspired by Yarn-O-Matic: yarn winder created by Ashwood. His fully 3D printed model is an engineering masterpiece, check it out.

Almost all of the parts (except Suction Pads) are taken from the Bambulab Essential Kit A. So if you have one, feel free to use it in this design.

You will need:
- 6204 Plastic Deep Groove Ball Bearing (20x47x14mm)
- 6704 Steel Deep Grove Ball Bearing (20x27x4mm)
- 2x M3x23 SHCS Machine Screw
- 3x BT3x5 SHCS Self Tapping Screw
- 11x BT2.6x8 SHCS Self Tapping Screw
- TT Motor (DC5V 59RPM CCW Single Axis)
- 4x 40mm Suction Pad With Hole HA016
- USB Speed Controller (optional)
