Utensil Drying Rack Basket for dish drying rack

This is a small Utensil Drying Rack Basket for a metal dish drying rack.  It's nothing to fancy but it works really well.  It will hold a handful of different size utensils, weather that is spoons, forks and knives or just some stirring utensils you can place them into this small basket and they will drain out and dry.  

The print is really simple and removing supports on the inside and outside are super easy.  It is printed in PETG.  

You will remove the supports from the bottom inside of the bridged support.  I found it easy to reach down and push it with my fingers.  Pops right out.  There will be a few bits on the bottom you can use a pair of needle nose pliers to get it out.  The center bottom hole will have some in it too.  Just use your allen key wrench that came with your printer to push it right up from the bottom.  

 This back side will also have supports going up it.  The little space between where it will hook on to the rack will have some supports in it too.  I just used the needle nose pliers and pinched them from the bottom in a few places and wiggled it right out.  No issues.  This drains water fast too.  Ran water in it from the kitchen sink on full blast and it drains it really well.  So as much as it might not seem elegant or full of holes for more air flow, it still works really well.  This print is pretty quick for it's size.    

The whole reason I even created this one was for my wife.  She helps out around the community in different places and sees the needs for something while she's helping.  Sometimes it's cheaper and easier to have me make her something to full fill the need in the community rather than go through a ton of hoops to get something purchased.  

I think back 25 years ago when I first even heard of 3D printing and thought to myself.  Man maybe one day we can have a small printer just to make what ever we want at our finger tips.  Now look at us all!  Awesome!
