V2.0 Update:

improved strength
distance helpers for the drill holes added (Thanks @ Mr. Basti for the Idea!)
the distances between the drill holes of the new version 2.0 are not compatible to the older version 1.2

A simple adapter to be able to use the Trofast boxes in a Kallax shelf.

Printed it with PLA. PLA was also used for the support. This was very easy to remove from the print.

I fastened them with so-called “Euroschrauben” (6,3 x 13 mm). Due to the thin furniture material, I pre-drilled with a 4 mm drill bit.

How to use de distance helpers (they are compatible to version 1.2 and 2.0) :

For easy assignment, the desintance helpers and the adapters are labeled “A” and “B”. Arrange as shown in the following picture.

I recommend assembling the components on the floor and then temporarily fixing them in the kallax with adhesive tape.

Almost perfect! It was a bit hard for me to position them even, so something like a small distance stick, than can be stick between them etc. would be ideal. Also I reduced the infill to 15%, i think at the parts where is infill, it does not matter so much, but saves a bit of filament. Anyway it feels stable, and works nicely.

Great model and a brilliant idea with the spacers! They make the whole setup process incredibly simple.My one suggestion for improvement would be to design the spacers so their outer edges align flush with the front and back of the Kallax shelf. This would make the assembly's total width match the shelf's depth, automatically positioning the rail dead center. Such a design would completely eliminate any need for measurement and guarantee a perfect result every time.Also, a quick tip for anyone printing this: you don't actually need all six spacers. Just two are enough to get the job done - one of type A and one of type B.

I'm glad you like the model Regarding your suggestion, I actually considered it during creation However, I discarded the idea because depending on the installation situation, it may not be desirable to position the drawers centrally I mounted the adapters at the very front, for example, to be able to pull out the drawer as far as possible and thank you for the boost

I noticed you have put some side by side. Did you have any trouble screwing from both sides of the thin panel? I'm worried the screws will hit each other or did you slightly offset the rails so the holes don't line up?

I tried printing the rails twice on my P2S and both times it got tangled and I had to cancel. The first time.e it was tangled on both ends. any tips to fix this?
