Ooono Co-Driver 2 Clip Mount

 

Other mounts I've tried were too delicate or simply didn't hold properly.

Furthermore, the Co-Driver should be in a quick and easily accessible position without being directly visible during a check =). This is how my version came about.

 

The mount is designed for the sun visor; I use it on the passenger sun visor. The buttons and charging port are easily accessible, so there's no need to ever remove the Co-Driver from the mount.

The Co-Driver is simply glued into the mount using the factory-applied adhesive pads.

 

  1. In the basic profile, the model has a recess of 18.5 mm to also fit slightly thicker sun visors.
  2. The second profile has a recess of 16 mm which theoretically fits any sun visor.

Upon request, I will gladly create customized profiles for different recesses.

 

=> Printed with Bambu PET-G HF, 0.2mm layer height, 15% infill.

==> PLA is NOT recommended due to higher temperatures in the vehicle during summer; the model could warp!

Initially excellent! Functions wonderfully and easily slides onto the sun visor. Today, in the car's heat, the tension was lost despite using Bambu's PETG HF. Now the clip slides off the sun visor when it's lowered. Annoying because the magnets are glued in. ABS or ASA might be even better

That's unfortunately annoying, but not unexpected with extremely high temperatures😕 If you have the opportunity, feel free to upload a print profile adjusted for ABS/ASA ☺️ I unfortunately don't own any of these materials to create a profile

ASA is best suited for automobiles ASA is more UV resistant than ABS

Unrelated to this model - but I tested PLA, PETG and ASA inside of a car parked in the summer sun. Only ASA survived.
