Description
Carisma GT24 Body Mounts and Shock Absorber Supports
These mounts are reinforced and significantly more rigid than the originals. The rear mount is a single-piece design, unlike the two-piece original.
Standard screws can be used, however, I recommend using M1.6x10mm countersunk screws. Depending on your printer tolerances, you may need to slightly enlarge the holes using micro-drills.
I have created two mount versions:
- STOCK Version
Compatible with both original plastic and aluminium shock absorbers (maximum length 33mm).
- REVERSED Version
This version allows you to invert the rear shock absorbers, positioning them fully outside the model. This facilitates disassembly and adjustment without complete dismantling. Simply swap the lower arms (ensuring the recessed section remains on the differential side), and you're done. The reversed version features multiple holes to accommodate a wide variety of shock absorbers (including the originals).
The front mount in this combination is specifically designed for 31mm shock absorbers (not 33mm!), lowering the front of the model to accommodate lower-profile, high-performance bodies.
Both versions can be combined as desired to meet your specific needs.
