My story why i did this insert:
Ever had your shop cards go flying in the middle of a tense Final Girl session? That was the inspiration behind this modular shop organizer—designed to keep everything in place, whether your cards are sleeved or unsleeved, while adding a chilling thematic touch to your setup.

🔪 Why I Designed This
During my own Final Girl games, I kept knocking the shop cards onto the floor. It was frustrating mid-session, breaking the tension and immersion. I wanted an organizer that completely eliminated card shifting, while allowing sleeved cards to fit snugly and unsleeved cards to have just a bit of extra space until sleeved. With this design, there's zero shift when sleeved, making gameplay smoother and more organized.

🛠️ The Design Journey
I started with simple measurements—checking card dimensions both sleeved and unsleeved—but it wasn’t a one-and-done process. The first version was too big, then too small, then the edges weren’t strong enough. I experimented with snap-fit connections, but the first versions weren’t snug enough. The real breakthrough came when I integrated the snap fit under the edge thickness, making the connections stronger, invisible, and modular—allowing for potential expansions or different layouts based on play preferences.

I also tested this with my board game group, and based on their feedback, I changed the layout from two flat rows to one flat and one raised at an angle, making it easier to grab higher-cost cards quickly. I also added finger hole cutouts to allow for quick snatch-ups of flat cards, making gameplay more seamless.

🕸️ Thematic & Personal Touch
The design isn't just functional—it’s thematic. Inspired by spiderweb-style fractal patterns (Vinolio or a similar effect), the shattered, web-like aesthetic ties beautifully into the tension of Final Girl’s horror survival theme. It’s not just a holder—it’s part of the experience.

🩸 What Makes This Organizer Stand Out?
✔ Zero Card Movement – Sleeved cards fit perfectly, unsleeved have space until sleeved. No accidental shifts mid-game!
✔ Raised & Angled for Fast Access – One flat row, one raised for easier card grabs. No more fumbling for expensive cards!
✔ Finger Grips for Quick Pickup – Easily lift flat cards without struggling.
✔ Modular & Snap-Together – Pieces click together securely, keeping your table organized. Plus, when not in use, the edges stack and band together with a rubber band for easy storage.
✔ Immersive Horror Aesthetic – The spiderweb fractal design adds an eerie, thematic touch that blends perfectly with Final Girl.
✔ Speeds Up Gameplay – The shop phase is faster and more organized, keeping the tension and immersion intact.

If you're looking for a stunning, functional, and immersive upgrade to your Final Girl experience, this modular shop organizer is the perfect addition. No more scattered cards—just pure horror survival.

This modular tray is excellent! The pieces snap together securely enough (with a bit of effort) that they stay snug. I've shown the second row of cards as it's designed, but I'll be printing out another set so my cards all sit down flat. (I tend to knock the standing ones down by accident.)

Edited to add: I made a second set to have two neat, flat rows of cards in the tableau. It works great!
