Description

Hello everyone. I kept meaning to get this up last year for the 70th anniversary of Gorjira but now will have to do.

This is a model for the 1954 version of Godzilla with a printable F-86 Sabre to put in his claws. I have made the model 40% infill to ensure no issues with taking off supports, if you go lower please do not give a low rating because you decided not to follow instructions. It is a pretty detailed print that will take a good amount of time. AND ALWAYS CLEAN YOUR PRINT PLATE. Do not blame uploaders for print failures if you are not maintaining your machine.

PLEASE READ DO NOT IGNORE: If you plan on printing both the Godzilla and the F-86 DO NOT SCALE EITHER DOWN. The Godzilla is scaled up to be able to fit the plane in his claws. If you want to print just the Godzilla then don't worry about the scale.

THE F-86 MUST BE PRINTED WITH .02 MM NOZZLE- The wings and tail are VERY FLIMSY printing with the 0.04 nozzle proved to be nearly impossible to get a clean result when trying to remove supports. IT MUST ALSO BE PRINTED FACING UP AS IS SHOWN IN THE PROJECT FILE. Again please do not print with the .04 nozzle and then complain that the F-86 didn't turn out well.

You can always glue the plane to the Godzilla claw or add small magnets if you want to be able to remove it at will. .25 inch magnets will work. If you don't plan on moving it very much then you can just rest it in his claw like in the photos.

I hope you enjoy this print and I always love seeing pictures along with ratings.

Wonderful print, supports come off easily. I didn't print the plane because I don't have that .2 nozzle. Love this one.

Great print! Gorjira is ferocious and printed cleanly! The plane printed well also with .02 nozzle on cool tack plate. Gorjira printed with Elegoo Blue/Green/Orange silk.

to be able to do both? or you mean just the godzilla? scaling down the plane to fit a smaller godzilla would be nearly impossible its already very small. what you can do though is bring the godzilla into bambu studio and cut part of it(the tail would probably be easiest) Here is a link to a video that shows how to do it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsVYz19foq0

you can absolutely scale the Godzilla model down. but you can't make the plane any smaller and have it print successfully. to do both they need to be that size.

Correct, but I don’t have a computer, and I don’t think I can scale models on Bambi handy, thanks for the response tho :)

I would love to have a Godzilla for a one mini, but I don’t have to have the plane.
