Description
A friend asked me to help him solve a problem with the KeySmart 5-in-1 multitool. Whenever he would pull it out of his pocket, it would snag on the fabric and risk tearing his pants. Together we conceived a flip away cover similar to a usb flash drive. The final design functions well and, as a bonus, makes a pretty good fidget with its satisfying positive engagement when closed.
With its flexibility and temperature resistance, PETG is a good choice for this print. Supports are not necessary. Due to the small scale of this item, a shorter layer height dramatically improves the quality of the print. I had good luck with .08mm.
