Description

The previous adapter for the Bitaxe Gamma (with four or two holes) does not have the optimal geometry. This complete redesign has improved the cooling performance of the ASIC on the Bitaxe Gamma by around 5°C.

PLA deforms at temperatures above 65°C, and the adapter is close to the processor and the PCB, both of which can become very hot.

I’ve tried printing this but there’s a large gap that leaves room for the BitAxe gamma 602 to overheat. I’ve matched the orientation but there’s still a gap.

I resolved this issue by tightening the screws connecting the adapter to the heatsink more than they were initially tightened.

Would having this manufactured in aluminium be better for heat dissipation too?

It might if you add fins to it, otherwise I dont see a point
