Description

Cheese and Mechanical Keyboards! These mouse adjacent hobbies have more in common than you would think. Both use pretentious adjectives to describe the sensory experience of the hobby. For example, if a cheese has a natural, safe to eat mold, cheese mongers prefer to call that a “bloom." If a cheese stinks, it will be described as “robust." The word “creamy” is an understandable adjective in the world of cheese, it is also used to describe keyboards in a much less real, more tasteless way.

A true overlap of cheese and keyboards surfaced when Rob Meyerson created the Swiss Cheese Mono font in 2024. This blocky font uses the iconic cheese holes to create the letters of the alphabet. This font was the inspiration for these keycaps. If you like the font, you can purchase it at the link below.

Swiss Cheese Mono Font

With Swiss Cheese Mono Font the shape of the cheese creates the letters of the alphabet and numbers 0-9. No legend necessary if you can read the cheese!

In this print profile you will find 104 keycaps designed for ANSI keyboards in the style of Swiss Cheese Mono. I have created cheesy versions of both Windows and Mac/iOS compatible keycaps.

The accent keycaps like the mouse, cheese grater, cheese knives, wine bottle, and jar of jam can be found under a different license at the link below.

*** Comments on Bridging ***

3/16/2025 - I updated the print profile to fix the bridging issue. Infill/Wall Overlap is now set to 50%. Test prints resulted in good bridging on the 1U keycaps (18x18mm).
