Description

Easy and fast printing (only 6 gram).

Once you have printed, place the fan in the housing. Note the orientation: see image for the correct direction.

Click the lid into place and blow hard....

Adding a drop of oil to the shaft improves the friction on the fan and therefore gives much better performance!

Update 05-03:

Due to several feedbacks about stucking fan's, I reviewed the original printprofile and shared it as V2.

Because friction is a major factor for proper functioning I added ironing to all important surfaces.

I also decreased the hight of the fan by 0.2mm to allow a little more space between the fan and the lid.

(the original space between them was designed as 0.4mm what in some cases required sanding)

Please use at least a drop of lubricant to enhance the spinning even more. It may be any kind of oil…

* I fine-tuned the clamping of the lid by scaling the lid in X-Y. Adjust this in small increments of 0.2% if you find it clamping too hard or too soft.

(-0.2% for tighter clamping, +0.2% for lighter clamping)

* If the blade gets stuck (or does not rotate properly), lightly sand both sides of the blade on a flat surface. (only applies for original print profile's)

Love it. Was stuck at first but I was able to get it going with some greeese and extra persuasion. That "extra persuasion" was and air compresser😂, worked great to get it moving but be careful when doing that because if you go full force for an extended period of time you'll start to melt the fan or peg. Great Print. First engine whistle I'll be keeping for good.

The model works well in itself, but when you mount the lid, the turbine is motionless. So that you can still use the pipe, you can only put the lid on the front

I’m sorry, your problem is most likely due to tight tolerances. have you tried sanding the turbine or adding grease?

no I haven't tried it, but it would help with troubleshooting

i like how nice little its good for keychain,, its not the best sound maker there’s only other models make better sharp turbo like sound, maybe you can take that fan design shape and but it in your design to get better sound , but its great and i love it. for those who struggle blowing.. don’t install the cover fully because it hold the fan from spinning just give it a little space. and i always add a drop of oil in the center for good spinning only for once .

Prints well and works after a light sanding of the impeller

pretty cool design, used a bit of silicon lubricant to make it spin even better. I think I printed it in ABS (that roll was on the printer at that moment) and the noise is pretty annoying/fun
