Description

Little project that I did in preparation for a larger one just to try my hand. Let me start with that I know nothing about speaker design,  just something that was easy in Fusion at that I think is cool. So here is my vintage inspired speaker. The parts were cheap and the sound isn't the greatest but it works for listening to the radio, streaming via Bluetooth or as a speaker for pc. Parts list from AliExpress are below.

Amp: 10W DIY Home Digital Amplifier MP3 Decoder Board 5V 5W Audio Power Bluetooth FM For Music Subwoofer Speakers Volume Control - AliExpress 502

Speakers: 2 Pcs/Lot Speaker 5W4R 2.5 Inch 5W 4 Ohm Full Range Speaker 66mm Square External Magnetic 5 Watt 4R Audio Amplifier Speakers - AliExpress 502

Speaker fabric (optional): - AliExpress

Print profile isn't probably the greatest. I printed the body on its face with normal supports on my A1 mini. Wasn't satisfied how the texture came out on the wall where the speakers are so i covered the honeycomb grille with speaker fabric.  That's why the fabric is optional, the grille looks cool also if you have better luck with the print. Maybe printing it on its back then the ugly texture would be inside the speaker instead. But uses a lot more filament for support.

I printed mine in Bambu PLA matte. Note that the fourth plate should not be printed. It is only to play with colors and see how the final result would be.
