Boost Me (for free)

Creating a model like this takes countless hours and far more test prints than I can admit. If it brings a smile to your face, please consider giving it a boost. It costs you nothing, yet it helps me a lot. One boost is about 80g of PLA filament and keeps me creating.

This is my very compact solder wire stand. It is foldable and the moving parts are "print in place". 

 

There are two versions available: a slightly smaller one, and another with the option to attach two rubber bands as feet. I highly recommend choosing the version with the rubber bands, as it prevents the stand from slipping on the table.

 

 

This solder wire stand is the perfect addition to my "soldering multi holder".

 

 

Spools with a width of up to 51mm / 65mm, a diameter up to 75mm and a hole diameter between 12 and 36mm are suitable.

I think most spools up to 250g should fit. If your spool doesn't fit, contact me. I'm happy to receive feedback as I don't have many spools to test.

If you print on a Bambu Printer, use the bed leveling and the flow dynamic calibration at the beginning of the print. Make sure you have good bed adhesion. Make sure the filament is dry, especially when using PETG!

To ensure that printing works without problems, I created a test model. For non-Bambu filaments, I recommend printing the test file first: “print in place Test”

 

I have tested the print profile extensively and got very good results with Bambu PLA Basic, Bambu PETG-HF, Bambu PETG Translucent and good result but a little stiffer on the moving parts with Bambu Silk+ . I do not recommend the normal Silk filament and using matte filaments.

My print profile works with all filament types! Just switch to your desired filament in Bambu Studio or Bambu mobile app.
