Print-in-place box generator

Simple print in place box. No supports needed.

Most parameters can be customized via the “Parametric model maker” tool.

Customization parameters:

• Geometry of the box
  • Enter the size of the box. This will be the internal size so the total size will be bigger
  • Wall thickness
  • Rounding
  • BETA : Lid height ratio : modifying this value will reduce the lid size compared to the bottom side. Because of that, the surface of the lid will not be on the build plate and supports will be needed. I am testing different supports setting but have not manage to get a satisfying print yet. Once I manage to do that, I will upload a profile containing optimal parameters
• Customize the logo on the lid
  • Image :
    • Upload any .svg file. The one used in the D&D model can be downloaded for free here.
  • 🆕 Text
    • Add the text of you choice and specify the font of your choice using the font helper (more than 8000 fonts available)
    • Multi-line text is available. The delimeter is “,”. For example type “Rubber,band” to have the text on two lines.
  • The image/text can be reshaped and moved
• Option to customize the texture of the walls
  • See the BOSL2 library documentation for more information on the various available textures as well as text_size and text_rot parameters
  • Unfortunately “Parametric model maker” servers sometime do not handle this option very well as this increases greatly the rendering time. To use this, you may need to install OpenScad, the BOSL2 library and run the script locally.
