Description

I couldn’t find a Twilight Struggle insert that fit my needs, so I designed my own! Most inserts cause too much lid lift or don’t handle sleeved cards well, so I made one that:

Fits the Twilight Struggle Deluxe Edition (tested with the Sixth Printing, but should work for other Deluxe versions).
Optimized for sleeved cards—the Early War cards alone take up most of the free vertical space, so I structured the trays accordingly.
Smart card & token storage:

  • Four card piles:
    • Early War (takes up most vertical space).
    • Late War (not full, so has room for token trays).
    • Two Mid-War piles (also with space for token trays).
  • Tile trays for easy sorting & quick setup.
Trays for general supply tokens, that support deluxe plastic tokens (linked below), but should support cardboard as well.
Lidless player component trays for fast access (influence counters 1-8 + die).
  • Includes a spacer to fill the small gap next to the player board, which helps fix everything in place and allows for vertical storage.

Size & Printing Details

  • Insert Dimensions: 300 × 220 mm
  • Multicolor Printing (Optional):
    • Top Layers Color Swaps:
      • Blue for USA trays
      • Red for USSR trays
      • White for cards & token supply
      • Rest printed in grey
    • If you don't have AMS, you can either:
      • Print it in one solid color
      • Manually swap filaments at the top layers
      • Print trays in Red/Blue/White separately
  • Adaptive Layer Height Used:
    • Most plates are printed with adaptive layer height to ensure a smooth and fast print.

🛠 Plastic tokens used: GeekUp Bit Set: Twilight Struggle

🔥 Prints without supports and keeps everything tightly organized!

Since I couldn’t find any Twilight Struggle inserts on MakerWorld, I figured others might need this too. Hope this helps fellow Twilight Struggle fans! 🎲🔥
