Description
The Asalato or Kashaka is a simple percussion instrument originating in West Africa with a rich history in many parts of the world. Playing is simple, but mastering it is a challenge. Skilled players can play polyrhythms while singing along.
Assembly is easy. You simply need a sets of shells, some 5mm paracord, and some rice, chopped filament or desiccant beads. The shells screw together to keep your beads contained.
