Description

Boost Me (for free)

Optimizing this model took time. If you are satisfied, consider supporting me by evaluating the model and boosting me :)

This is a remix of the the big santa from HowardB.

The heigh of the minifig is about 16cm without hat, 20cm with hat.

I made the following optimizations :
- Improved the gap for a good balance between assembly and maintaining the position of the arms and legs.

- Added an effective clipping function for the hips on the body.

- The 3Dmodel of the beard was not symetrical. I fixed it.
- Removed the interference of the beard with the head.

- Used the last version of the fixed hat from thall72. The previous version (used on lot of blue wizard STL contain an error)

- Removed the interference of the hat with the head.

- Changed a little bit the cap shape to remove the interference with the beard.

- Cut the parts for printing without any supports (need glue to assemble).

- I recommand to print with the attached settings (adaptive layer height).

I drew a decoration for the front of the body (need glue to assemble). This decoration need to be printed with AMS including a version of the eyes with a white dot in the middle.

For the wand I used a glow PLA.

To assemble the arms; First, insert the pin inside the body and maintain it with a finger, then, clip the arm on the pin.
