Description

Utensil & chopsticks holder with modular design and draining tray.

 

Features

  • Sleek and modern design.
  • Modular design featuring three detachable baskets, available in your choice of large or small sizes.
  • Ventilation/draining holes on both shell and baskets.

      

  • Detachable draining tray for effortless water drainage.

Print Guide

  • Overall: No support required for ventilation holes on the shell and baskets.
  • Shell: Print up side down with support.
  • Draining Tray: Print with brim and no support.
  • Baskets: Provided two print profiles
    • Without support: Splited the basket into two parts so it can be printed without supports. But you'll need to use glue to attach two parts together.
    • With support: This approach will cost more filament but no glue required.

Awesome design! You might consider adding 45-degree chamfers where the Shell meets the Inner Basket. That way, it can print cleaner without supports. Easy tweak in Fusion 360 using Create Chamfer.

also the corresponding tweak can be applied to the base which will allow printing it without supports

Printed this out for a lady at church that needed a utensil holder. She loved it!!! Thank You for the file. I did the main body out of white PETG and the holders and base, I used PETG wood filament.

Great print and very handy at the sink. Thanks. I ran out of white filament, so switched to light grey. The drip was printed with dark grey. Looks great! Two of the inner baskets were printed with PLA glow orange and one with PLA matt orange when I ran out of the glow filament. The colour change worked out nice.

I printed the entire set. great model and print. I printed 1 small bin and 2 large and it works great. im sure I’ll print another set for when thy are dry! let’s go! thank you.

I enlarged this print to 125% to accommodate a larger number of utensils. It works great! The print profile works very well, although, I messed up the frame of the shell because I accidentally increased the speed for a short time when it was printing the first layer. you can sort of tell on top left of the picture. Operator error! But it’s still functional.
