Description
(Non-Bambu Users: See print settings at the end)
IMPORTANT: Users of other remixes of the Quest 2 Headset mount reported having fit issues when using prescription lenses. I do not have access to prescription lenses with my headset so I can only insure it holds the stock headset.
This model combines two excellent models with an equally excellent mounting system. After travelling down the remix chains I got the original headset mount and controller mounts from Lensfort and CyberCyclist respectively over on Thingyverse to ensure that I downloaded the cleanest stl files and gave credit to original designers.
This model improves upon other similar remixes by including 2 hooks for the controller mount to remove the wobble, as well as incorporating the well-designed “Ultimount Connector/Hook”. This system allows the model and the hooks to be printed separately in their ideal orientations, without the need for supports! The hooks then snuggly snap into place with a satisfying click!
Utimount Connector/Hook System:
This system was designed by @davidmakes. The hook and slot system makes it incredibly easy to print various pegboard accessories in their ideal orientations without the need for any supports for free-floating hooks! If you enjoy the system please go show the original designer some love and check out some of their other designs!
