Penny Black Postage Stamp HueForge 4 Color

During his life, my father was a committed and quite well known (in the UK) philatelist.  I sadly lost him last year at the age of 89, and as I had little interest in the subject I had to rely on help from his friends to sort out his extensive collection.  As a little thank you, I produced this HueForge to give to them as a gift.

This is a deceptively simple looking design, but in reality is highly complex, so it will take a while to slice and print.  I could have made this a lot simpler, but there is a surprising amount of detail in the stamp that would have been lost if I had taken that route.  The design took me several days to get right, but I'm more than happy with the end result - I hope you like it too.  It would make a wonderful gift for any philatelist.

Whilst this design is fairly forgiving of filament substitution, the TD of the white in particular remains very important.  If you're going to substitute, please bear this in mind as a lower TD white in particular will give you a very different result.

Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.16mm

The Model is 127.5x150mm in size
You may print at higher layer heights below the Min Depth of 0.72mm
The Max Depth is 2.2mm and the Actual Depth is 2.1mm

Filaments Used:
    PLA Deeplee Black Transmission Distance: 0.8
    PLA eSun EPLA Grey Transmission Distance: 3.2
    PLA Deeplee White Transmission Distance: 5.6
This print uses 3 unique filaments

Swap Instructions:
    Start with Black
    At layer #11 (0.96mm) swap to Grey
    At layer #19 (1.6mm) swap to White for the rest.
