Description

My kids kept losing their lip balms, and there are lots of keychain style holders for the stick style lip balm that they could attach to their backpacks so they would stop losing them, HOWEVER, I could not find something to help them keep track of the container style Carmex containers, so back to Tinkercad and several prototypes and text prints later, I came up with this model.  The TPU version is the best option. The PLA version works, but I would only use it if TPU is not available.

I first tried to make it work in PLA, and the resulting PLA holder/Keychain does work to hold the container firmly. In fact, it is so difficult to remove, it can be pried off at the bottom with a flathead screwdriver, it will likely break when you try. It is less than 6 grams of PLA filament, so once it's empty, you could try keep it on and use the container as a small container for other things.

If you have TPU, that is the way to go. It is securely held on, and also easy enough to remove and reuse once the container is empty.
