Description

A refillable mosture trap designed for desiccant made from calcium chloride or similar which dissolve to a liquid as the extract moisture from the surrounding air.

The model is made up a 3 parts which simply all screw together. Simply screw the basket into the bowl (the bowl will catch all of the desiccant as it liquidifies) and fill the basket with desiccant. Then screw the lid on and place where you wish to control the moisture.

The 3 parts can be printed in any material, but I find PETG appropriate as it's in contact with liquids. The bowl does not necessarily need to be printed in a translucent material, but I find it's useful as I can it working and can estimate when it needs refilling without reoving the lid.

Note - the bowl should be printed with Seam Position set to random else the seam can create a weak line in the bowl which can easily crack (first hand experience)

I find these work especially well around toilets which typically attract condensation as they are full of water and the backs of bathroom cabinets and wardrobes.
