Model Description:

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - Standard Motorcycle

Utilizing the original game color scheme, the design, excluding the handlebar steering and shock absorption system, faithfully mirrors the in-game model.

Shock Absorption Effect:

Due to the limited elasticity of the printed springs, achieving the shock absorption effect shown in the video requires two M8 springs approximately 20mm in length; slightly longer springs can be purchased and trimmed to size.

If hardware is undesirable, the printed springs offer a more aesthetically pleasing appearance, ideal for display.

Recommended Filament:

The colors used in testing were all PLA Matte, encompassing six shades: black, white, red, blue, yellow, and warm gray, all commonly available.

Warm gray can be substituted with white; the overall effect is nearly indistinguishable from the original color scheme.

Avoid filaments with excessive shrinkage. Matte materials are recommended for superior aesthetics.

In cooler climates, un-enclosed printers may benefit from increased ambient temperature.

For optimal print quality with enclosed printers, avoid positioning the model near the door to prevent severe localized shrinkage.

Assembly Instructions:

The assembly video is at the bottom; the screw locations have been modified; refer to the explanation below:

1. Front wheel frame: The cup head screw connection in the video has been replaced with the connecting column (in the yellow tray) shown in the illustration.

2. The connecting rod in the front section: The cylinder (in the white tray) circled in blue in the illustration replaces the screws used in the video. This connecting rod links the front and frame, limiting the handlebar's turning angle to prevent 360-degree rotation.

3. The rear screw location has been modified to a locating pin (in the white tray), as illustrated.
