Hello, I always start with the joint first, and then I design a crystal and keep copying it so that there are several crystals on the dragon. You do this until the dragon looks perfect. You do the same with the remaining parts. The software I use are Blender, SculptGL, and Tinkercad. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact me.
