Description

First of all, I would like to thank you for your interest in the initial gauge.

I have created a more compact version with a slightly different design.

It can measure tread depths up to 17 mm. It only takes 21 minutes to print.

For most European countries the summer tread depth allowed is 1.6 mm. For the winter season 4 mm. In the colored version, these two depths are printed in red.

Print settings:

  • Layer height: 0.16 mm
  • Wall generator: Arachne
  • Minimum layer width: 75%
  • Layer width: 0.4 mm
  • Precise Z height: Enabled
  • Seam position: Aligned

Note: I recommend to draw the seam manually to avoid seam joints between the two bodies.
