608ZZ (2PCS) - EA027

Description

A remix of the great roulette wheel by @pcwzrd13 found here.

Changes:

  • Added a place for a 608 bearing to ensure smooth spin.
  • Added a small roulette.
  • Added the wheel diamond ball deflectors as in real roulettes.
  • Added balls storage.

Recommended Print Settings:

  • Top part:
    • Print with Arachne wall generator to allow printing the thin dividers between ball landing spots.
    • Print with slim tree support and 1mm diameter to allow printing the bearing hole while being easily removed without damaging the top part.
  • Balls:
    • I printed with 100% infill PETG to add some weight.

Assembly:

  • First, glue the numbers to the top part, as it is easier before assembling to the base. I recommend using thick glue and putting small amounts, I used R21 thick instant glue.
  • Put the bearing in the base part axle and slide the top part on top.
  • Enjoy!

As a general note, the small roulette is pretty small, and it is more of a decorative piece as spinning and playing with it can be hard because of the small ball.

I am planning on maybe adding a maximum size roulette for the A1 mini, and a table to place bets. Let me know if you need one of those.

I made a large roulette wheel on the A1 mini Scale all parts to 85% and it will be fine

Excellent result I was a little doubtful about the order of the numbers… The printing of the white numbers could be made more legible but I still give it 5 stars

Unfortunately, I had some issues with warping. I'll give it another try when I have new filament, but thanks for the model!

Hey! Unfortunate, did you clean the build plate? And do you print in a cold room / with draughts?
