Description

Updated to V2.0!

Unfortunately V1.0 failed in a windstorm.  V2.0 has slightly thicker sections as the ID was originally oversized for my flag.  In addition, I changed the print orientation to increase strength.  Although the original model was oriented (and designed) to not need support, all the highest stresses led to a failure due to layer adhesion.  Despite the amount of support, this one also printed great!

Original description:

Exterior Flag Mount.  My old flag mount cracked during a wind storm and I decided to design and print a replacement.   The design has a thumb screw to secure the flag pole.  The thumb screw threads into a nut that you insert into the print after printing.  Maybe the description isn't totally clear but please see this feature in the pictures.   I'm from the US and reused the thumb screw from my old mount.  The thread size of that one is ¼ -20.  The standard design is made for that size.  I also posed a separate model and print profile for an M6 version for everyone else in the world.  I printed this with ASA-CF.  I'm thinking normal ASA would probably work as well.  I've had it on my house for a week now with no issues!  Enjoy!
