07 Subaru Forester Hood Stay (prop rod clip)

4 years ago I got Sue, my blue Subaru (Forester 2.5X mt). It came from a dealership with a broken hood stay, just tuck it and go! I finally got around to making one, it works perfectly for my 07 Forester after MANY iterations. Sure it's $4 from Subaru (#57255SA000) I know it fits an 06 assembled 07 year and according to Subaru a bunch more Forester trims from 03-08 (Chart at bottom of summary).
“ish” cause she just wants to be a Forester STI so bad. Eventually, the EJ253b is getting a turbo soon.

If you need help removing your current hood stay you must use a thin pic! If you open the model and look at the recess next to the clip, it's meant for a pic to be slid in the relief to move one of the clasps away from the metal and it should come out. I made sure to retain this feature in my design so as to come close to oem specs. It may break more, you're already there and you have a replacement. BREAK IT OFF! If the pic method doesn't work just break it.

Love your Subaru, it was probably made in America AND we're not ALL hippies, ladies that like ladies, elderly or f-boys!

Print: layer height of 0.16 without text 0.12 with text, 25% infill, thin tree supports that are hollow and it should print well! keep it laying on it's side.
