Description

2026-01-06: Uploaded version 2.0 of this design! Find it here: https://makerworld.com/sv/models/2159209

Updated design for cleaner prints. Different screw lengths available. Small pads to better hold on to the pegboard, easier to mount.

If you like our work, please give us a boost! Thank you!

2025-09-03: Added 2 more print profiles with mounts for having two peg boards next to each other without a gap between them. Thanks to @Osimb04 for the idea!

2025-06-10: Some users have had difficulties using the screws to fasten the holder to the table edge, too tight tolerances making it very hard to turn. I have adjusted the tolerances of the thread for both screw and hole and did a test print. It is now much easier to screw in.

A desk mount for the Skådis pegboard from Ikea. The board slots in to the mount without screws.

The mount can handle desk thicknesses between 16-45 mm.

Let me know if you have improvement suggestions or wish for a mount for thicker or thinner desks.

Printed SO clean. Smooth action on the bolts right away. Works like an absolute charm. Snug easy fit, instantly stable with very little tightening. Thanks for this, totally made my headphone storage idea work 😎

Hey, the design is very sturdy! I have a problem with the pads you have to snap on the screws. The tabs on the screws always break off when I tried to assemble them :( I don't know why

Hi, I'm sorry to hear that. I could update the holes on the pads to make them slightly bigger so the snap on easier. There is thin balance between having them easily snap on and easily fall off. :) I will update them and let you know later today.

I've updated the pad now so the hole should be slightly bigger, I hope it is enough for it to snap on but not brake the tabs on the screws. Sorry about that problem. What material are you printing in?

do you mean the knife holder? it's this one: https://www.printables.com/model/826008-ikea-skadis-pen-holder-one I replace the original xacto knife handle with this model: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4920987 and the pen holder fits the new handle nicely.

Printed nicely and functions well. However, the threads on the screw caps didnt print well and I wasnt able to put them onto the screws.

Thank you. There are no threads in the caps, they should only click in with a loose fit. But the tolerances for it to click in is difficult and may vary depending on the plastic used. Try scaling them a few percent up or down if they didn't fit.

I printed this in ASA without looking at description so my desk is too thin for this design, it could have a longer screw so they did a second version with longer screw and fixed this design issue if anyone having same problem

Hi, yes. Unfortunately I was not able to adjust the screw and make it longer. Instead I did a new version with slightly different design and finish, but same great functionality. https://makerworld.com/models/2159209

If I remember correctly, it's the same screw in the xl as in the normal version. It just has a larger gap to fit a thicker desk.
