Description

Sistema Ball and Beam

The Ball and Beam is a classic control system where a ball moves along a tilting rail. The objective is to keep the ball at a desired position by adjusting the rail’s angle using a servo motor.

This project was designed as an educational tool to demonstrate PID control in a visual and hands-on way.

It includes a 3D-printed structure, an ESP32-S3 microcontroller, a VL53L0X laser sensor, and a TFT display. Users can interact with the system either physically or through a MATLAB-based simulation.

Ideal for teaching control systems, mechatronics, and electronics in schools, universities, and maker environments.
